Hello Friends. The photo at the top. That is me, "No Sweat."  And my grandson, Lance.  Lance has been helping me take care of the birds for many years. This past year he has become very involved. Working with my family of Sions nearly every day. I have had him around my pigeons ever since he was a baby. My daughter went through a divorce many years ago. Because of such. I raised Lance since a baby. He has been more of a son than a grandson. He has already been with the pigeons some 20 years.

I am elated. The future of the "NO SWEAT SIONS" is brighter than ever. About a year and a half ago. I faced a big decision.  Quit with racing pigeons. Or.  Buy five acres of undeveloped land.  Smack in the middle of my home town. Richmond, Kentucky.  About two minutes from my home. I had to have the land. Because it would be a place where I could keep my pigeons. Because of a death in the family. Of the people where I had kept my birds the past 20 years. I was being forced to quit or move. Some six differnt lofts. Each different.  I almost had a heart attack. Lost sleep. Worrying. Debating with myself.  I am not a spring chicken.

The truth.  I could not exist without a pigeon. Had them since I was a baby.  Always in love with them. I bought the land. Then developed. Moved new lofts to the place. Knowing. This time forever. I set out to do all the things I had learned. For the birds. As well as myself. Happy pigeons are healthy pigeons.

If you will go through all my updates. HEITZMAN SIONS website.  You . will learn. What has and is. Happening with my family of Sions. The future is bright. Every bird perfect. Each. Long distance blood. World record stuff.

I plan to enter birds in the Florida Derby this coming year. THE  best race in North America. My close bred family of Sions can beat any racing pigeons on earth on a given day. I have not devoted 68 straight years with Sions.  Twiddling my thumbs.

I am always best reached by an email.
