Earl Lowell "ROBBIE" / "NO SWEAT" ROBBINS, JR who lives in Richmond, [email protected] ----and who has had SIONS for 63 years, was Charles Heitzman's closest friend and who--today---is now known for his own family of Sions which he bred down from the pure old Sions he aquired from Charles Heitzman----a fellow Kentuckian who also loved race horses, fried chicken and the beautiful racing pigeons. "NO SWEAT" has now won OVER 1,000 first places with his Sions in all manner of comeptettion. And PLEASE NOTE: Just this past late July, 2021, in THE VICTORIA FALLS RACE series in Africa, you can find the results in all their "BONUS RACES"---that the "NO SWEAT SION SYNDICATE" came in FIRST USA and 8th world out of 7,600 entered racing pigeons. (Ganus was second USA and 10th.)
The summer of 2021 had many of the NO SWEAT YOUNG BIRD SIONS flying in the speeds of nearly 2,000 YPM---not only in Africa but also in other races all over the world. Yes, very fast racing! These Sions have been bred to enter into the modern era of racing and can compete and defeat ANY racing pigeons wherever. And yet, this remains one of the true old pure NO SHORTCUTS TO BREEDING TO BE FOUND HERE! THIS IS ALL "OLD SCHOOL" stuff and tons of LOVE!!! This same family of Sions have been winning consistently now for some 100 straight years. NO other strain of racing pigeons has ever achieved this kind of historical fame.
I woud like to relay to all the die hard pure Sion fanciers that the 2021 breeding season at the "NO SWEAT SION LOFTS" is going excellent. Fantastic babies have been hatching out and reared since the beginning of the season. Many blue bars, silver bars and red checks. Some of the most beautiful and healthy babies I have ever seen. Gorgeous long distance racrs. And these continue to sharpen and mold into what has become "THE NO SWEAT SIONS." I am allowing my breeders to continue raising babies in July and possibly into early August. I hope to split up my matings sometime by early September and begin giving my breeders a rest. The health of the birds always comes first. I hope at some juncture I will be having a new YOU TUBE HEITZMAN SIONS video which will involve my discussing the history of the Sion family and much more. I will be adding some more photos of my birds with this new addition to my website. Please look at all these new photos to see the quality of racing pigeons I am breeding in 2021----the photos will speak for themselves. Any red banded bird you see in the photos is a 2021 KY banded young bird. I took all these photos in late July--August. MtSions for the most part had not yet gone into their miltrs but a few had started such. So, bear all that in mind and the time of the year. Summertime is not always the best time to photograph racing pigeons for their top appearances. I enjoy all manner of photos of racing pigeons but I feel that the ones I take of my family of Sions are tather realistic and pecial in that it shows "honest pigeons" and not always those"statue after statue stanced photos" as you so commonly see when other fanciers show photos of their birds. To me, that stuff quickly becomes boring. And I like to believe that the entire sport does not have to be "MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO."
What hopefully comes through in all this----------with my family of No Sweat Sions---------------- is an end result in the form of feather -----------which somehow translates just how much I DO love and care for my racing pigeons. And have been doing so since I was in diapers. Without this love these birds would be nothing, There would be no beautiful family of pigeons. Without this love they would not be the famous racers they are. Yes, it is a passion. And those that know me will quickly relay to you about the love and passion I own and have always owned for these Sions. I would NEVER consider introducing ANY bird into this family. WHY WOULD want to down-grade and ruin a family of racing pigeons which I have devoted my life in creating? Why indeed.
I own a joy in being with my Sions. I figured a long time ago, hey, if you are gong to do all this---then why not make all this extroadinary and unique? That's why I began centering on supreme long distances. In my heart I knew that long distances happened to be where the very finest racing pigeons roamed---supreme long distances. And that is why I have been releasing YOUNG BIRDS 600 and 700 miles away from my lofts----breeding from those that came back----to truly find the very finest racing pigeons in the world----now known as THE NO SWEAT SIONS,
