WELCOME!  WELCOME!  WELCOME!   To the NO SWEAT SIONS.   A true pure old family of Sions which have been bred over a lifetime for their superior long distance racing and also their undeniable beauty.  I would love for Paul Sion and my mentor, Charles Heitzman, to come back and see what I have accomplished.  Today this family of Sions are consistently  winning long distance races all over the USA and world. They are the one real flagship for long distance racing, where the real quality in racing pigeons resides.  The last time I flew theses NO SWEAT SIONS  in THE VICTORIA FALLS RACE in AFRICA they were FIRST TEAM  for the entire USA and were often the first USA birds to arrive back from trainings and races. The same goes for when they flew in the World's biggest race in South Africa.  In the only time I flew them in the HOOSIER they were 13th in the big smash race which was held previously before the fire. Recently, they won the biggest race in New York. And they won a major concourse race in Maryland before that. They set long distance racing records in China winning at 700 and 1,000 KM  races. The four times I have taken YOUNG BIRDS out to 700 air miles---all four times I got birds back. That happens to be WORLD RECORD LONG DISTANCES for YOUNG BIRDS! Stuff which no other fanciers dream of when hoping to fly their young birds. I have now won in my 65 years with Sions over 1,500 first places at all levels of competition. In 1971, I finished in the top ten in the top ten futurities throughout the USA.  You can do the math on how long that was. And these Sions have done nothing but improve since that time.  In recent years, I also had two of my four Sions  which were released 1,000 miles,  from Key West, Florida, home back to Richmond, Kentucky in four days.  I then mated this pair together.  I doubt there are many pairs of racing pigeons in the USA today which have both parents having flown 1,000 miles. LONG DISTANCE IS WHAT THIS FAMILY OF SIONS ARE BEST NOTED FOR. This blood runs within this family of NO SWEAT SIONS. Once carefully scruitinized, you would see that The NO SWEAT SIONS of today are the best Sions which have ever existed. And that is saying a lot. They are bred down from the finest Sions straight from Charles Heitzman---who was my mentor and close friend----and who entrusted me with his pigeons as he did no other person. There are no other racing pigeons in the world with the handsome appearances and superior long distance racing abilities combined as are these magnificent Sions. There is no other strain of racing pigeons which have so consistently won for so long of a time at all distances and in all terrains as have the Sions. NONE!  I remain "old school" in strongly believing that staying within this family is the right way to success. These NO SWEAT SIONS are living proof of this. These are pure old Sions of which Paul Sion himself would recognize and love. I have now owned and bred Sions longer than did Paul Sion and Charles Heitzman COMBINED. There are other Sion fanciers who try to copy what I do but none of them actually have young birds which consistently race back from 500 miles, let alone 700 miles. None of them begin to have the quality of Sions such as these. And that is, if they even actually have true Sions, period.  And none of them fly against the very best racing men in all the world T-O-D-A-Y. The NO SWEAT SIONS do just that. Not yesterday but today. THESE ARE THE SIONS OF THE FUTURE.
